Michelle Furuya

As a visiting student, my research aims to investigate the relationship between land surface temperature (LST) and land use and land cover (LULC), focusing on vegetation. My project will involve analysis of thermal data, lidar, radar, and imaging spectrometry remote sensing measurements to characterize and understand the structure and composition of forest canopies and their associated thermal regimes.
