I am interested in quantifying anthropogenic damage to forest ecosystems, particularly logging and fires. My research involves using both ground and light detection and ranging (Lidar) data for allometric calculations and creating terrain and canopy models for forest sites in the western United States, including the Pacific Northwest and Southwest. I am also interested in fish population dynamics, as part of a project on managing overfishing in Belize.
